There are many versions of what happened, basically there is the US Government Version and there is a Civilian Version, it took a while for the Civilian Version to emerge because, supposedly and by multiple sworn affidavits, there were threats of career, life style, family ruination, and slander upon the lives of the various witnesses. The witnesses, for the most part, formed their testification near the end of their lives (when threats upon them were meaningless).

I came to Roswell to look for Information that I did NOT previously know (or know about):
• I have previously read the US Gov't accounts at Roswell.
• I have read-up on Unidentified Flying Objects, Sightings, Abductions, historical accounts, ...
• At the Roswell Museum, I read most of the Sworn Testimonies of local and now retired Ranchers, Airmen, Sheriff, Mortician, surviving Children of Ranchers, who collectively repudiate some 'Officially Reported' statements or they have added another new statement about what happened.
• If the reader is new to this subject, I recommend spending a day (or 2 half days) reading all of the material in chronological order. There is a wealth of information there.
• The NEW TO ME Standout Statements were:
• There are many statements that speak of a Threat (or Threats) of having their Lives or Careers Ruined 'if' the people did not change, re-state, or hold back on their report(s) about what they saw and/or reported (back in 1947). Collectively, these Sworn Testimonies indicate a Designed Misdirection or Redirection of Truth.
• One of the Sworn Testimonies is from the local Undertaker, who supplied the US Government with a special order of Child Sized Coffins.
• Another Sworn Testimony is of a civilian gentleman who just happened to be standing in a doorway at the local airport as a group of Airman were carrying boxed debris and other items through a hallway to a military airplane on the field. He specifically mentioned seeing a triangular shaped piece of a silverish metal/material that had characters written upon the object. The characters were not a recognizable language but a series of symbols, some of which he could recollect. An approximate recreation of the size and symbols are on display in the museum.
• A third (new item to me) was from a retired Airman, from just before his passing, where he stated in Sworn Testimony that he helped carry boxes of debris from the crash site. His input is that the boxes (of crash site debris) that he carried were full and virtually weightless.

Above: This is mockup for size and description of the Triangle Shaped Material that was seen being carried through the airport hallway to a waiting military aircraft. Some of the symbols were from memory and they seem to be repeated in the mock-up. There were a few posted documents that stated that the characters were not oriental but more in the nature of being used like hieroglyphics, of course without the actual object, this is all speculation.

We Are Now in the Part of the Museum that Demonstrates How Old the Topic of Space Travel

Above: This is called the Palenque Astronaut, it is a carved base-relief on a Tomb-Lid in a Sacred Mayan Temple in Palenque, southern Mexico (ruins date from 226 BC to ca. AD 799). This is an interesting translation, it does not say by whom.

I did not find the source explanation of this wood relief copy of the Tomb-Lid for K'inich Janaab Pakal I, so I looked it up on Wikipedia.

The Pros are presented in the proposed solution above.

The Cons state that this is a symbolic tree of life and that most of the glyphs can be found in other Mayan carvings or paintings.
