Above Right: Ornamental Grass (Pampas Grass).
Above: Wide area view - We were just on that valley road (seen in the displayed picture).
Above Left: Roadside Flowers.
Above Right: We found a little climb.
Above Left: We were worried that was the pass that we would ascend. Luckily, we turned left in about 100 meters onto an old rail road bed (shallow angle riding).
Above Right: A Spanish crematorium and cemetery.
Above Left: The far right-side city is Baena.
Above Right: Railroad grade climb.
Above Left: It is all about Olive Trees here.

Above Right: A cemetery stands alone.
Above Left: Wild Flowers.
Above Right: Another Castle or Rook stands alone on a hilltop.
Above Left: We lost the smooth railroad grade, we are climbing up a village street in Luque. Luque turns out to be a pretty big town on a mountain side and I think that the only level place is the town plaza (in another 200 meters/yards).
Above Right: The Bee rests in the town plaza. They have public conveniences and we are about to use them.
Above: Roses at the peak of perfection (town plaza).
Above Left: A view northwest from the Luque Plaza.
Above Right: Our exit for Fuente Alhama (from the town plaza) is between the building on the right and the nearest tree, just behind the cab of the parked truck the exit looks like an alley but is is a major well used road.
By the way there are a few different towns called Fuente Something, one must be careful, we're going to see 4 Fuente's today. In English, 'Fuente' means Source (as in river source) or Fountain, we are riding in mountains today.
Above Left: We are using the GPS and it is showing us on the correct course but like most European cities/towns/villages we are following the road path with the most tire wear (a trick of experienced travelers when there are no signs).
Above Right: At the edge of town we finally get a road sign visual confirming that we are on the correct road to Fuente Alhama.
Above Left: Yet another Fuente named town, not on any maps.
Above Right: The road to Fuente Alhama.

Above Left: Think About This - This is a SNOW Emergency Route.
Above Right: We are in big hill country.
Above Left: Our destination (Almedinilla) is finally on the road signs.
Above Right: Beautiful countryside.
Above Left: Las Higueras.
Above Right: Beautiful Home (probably a Magistrate or Mayor).
Above: A Private Memorial Chapel. We have seen a few of these over the days but this is the first open Chapel where we had time visit, study, appreciate, and pay our respects.
Above Left: We turn right but only for a couple hundred meters.
Above Right: Almedinilla.
Almedinilla and the Hospedaria La Era
Above Left: Almedinilla has a very big, old, and ornate Bull Ring which can be used for many other types of events, very much like Sports Centers in the USA.
Above Right: Terry and the Bee are in front of the destination, Hospedaria La Era. Era is the name of the area where animals (or people) rotate a large stone grinding wheel in a circle to crush wheat into flour (or any similar grinding process, like for pressing olives or grapes). This facility litteraly sits on the town's old Era and there is a small public plaza in front of the Hospedaria because people have become used to meeting at this location.
Above Left: Hospedaria La Era - Note the Era Symbol, Arcs around a circle (very artistic). The artist's presence is felt everywhere.
Above Right: A tile representation of a mule in Era action.
Above Left: Official Plaza Marker, La Era.
Above Right: Hotel Entrance, simple on the outside, sophisticated on the inside (classic Spanish attribute). Note, one reflection of Terry and two reflections of Dennis.
Above Left: This is tonight's safe home for the Bee.
Above Right: Donkey Cart.
Above: Trappings of agricultural life at the Era.
Above Left: A well equipped bar.
Above Right: Our Bed and Bedroom environment, very sophisticated.
Above Left: Our patio view. The road way up on the hillside will be our departure road tomorrow.
Above Right: A partial view of the Era Public Plaza, there are parents out there with kids.
Above Left: Dining Area.

Above Left: Terry and I at the ready for supper with candle light, Uh La La.
Above Right: We're sharing a local beer. Terry can no longer drink wine, except for sweet wines, like Sangria or Cordials.
Above Left: About half way through my salad, I remembered to take a picture.
Above Right: Supper.
Above: Thus ended another fun day in Andalucia, España.
