Famous Parakeet River Clay Bank
Above Left: We hiked out toward the Amazon tributary creek.
Above Right: We found the tributary creek and only needed to walk another 100 yards/meters to find the cut bank of clay (with an observation blind).
Above: The Corto Maltes Ecolodge built and shares an observation blind with other tour operators such that curious Birders may watch the near daily routine of Parakeets gather to get their fill of the Clay Bank of this Amazon Tributary Cut.
Above Left: These are the types of Parakeets that inhabit this part of Peru.
Above Right: On occasion, one or more of these types of birds will appear.

Puerto Maldonado Airport - A Tropical Storm Rolls In - Departure Long Delayed
Above: We were in between Wall Spirals of a Tropical Storm in the Amazon Region.
Our Flight was delayed by 1.5 Hours. We will get to Cuzco with no Problem but we would have missed the subsequent Flight Legs. We had to make new flight arrangements, we will take a total of five (5) Flight Legs to get home, it will take a total of 36 hours, and we now get to visit the Panama City Airport (in addition to Cusco, Lima, Houston, and Colorado Springs)!
We had a wonderful Travel Experience in Peru!
On any given day, we will take airplane flight problems going home versus flight problems heading out.
