Above Left: Lunch on the road: We just buy bread, meat, cheese, and mustard - it will give us several meals but it is a good road travel formula for autos and for bikes. The food keeps fresh in cool weather; all of our nights are cold (good for snuggling) but ok to use the vehicle as a refrigerator, and most of our hotels/inns/hostels have refrigerators. Above: Tools of the glass shaping trade. At Glasbruk AB (Glassworks), Nybro, Sweden Above: We are the only Visitors here, at this moment, today (at noon time). There is a scheduled Glass Making exhibit at 1400 hrs. We were told that a Master Glass Maker was going to do some experimental glass making and that he was also conducting further training/teaching of another Glass Maker and an Apprentice. Additionally, we could stay to watch from a gallery but their work was not for show, per se. We stayed and probably had a better viewing of actual tradesmen working together than if we were in an exhibition.
Above: The Apprentice was very experienced and always knew when to help the Glass Maker. When the Apprentice was not helping the Glass Maker, he was moving stock/inventory or boxing finished glassware.
